My Family and I work very hard, we like to work and believe any job worth doing is a job worth doing well!  A lot of work goes on here at Laura's Dog Retreat.  We are up early taking care of your pets before the kennel opens, to make sure everyone is taken care of without any distractions.  We also work late after the kennel closes and monitor the Dog Hotel from the house as well as making some mid night checks in person if needed.  Because the many hours we work to ensure your pets comfort and care, we really appreciate our customers respecting our business hours for dropping off and picking up your pets.

For fun my husband, Richard and I love to ride our Harleys!  Richard has worked as a Lexington Fire Fighter for the past 20 years but will be retiring soon!

Update: Josh is now safely home from Afghanistan.  He is stationed at Camp LeJuene but is currently on another depoyment to the Mediterranean Sea and will return home Feb 2012.  (Home is the USA in Military Life)

 This is our youngest son Lt. Joshua Bales USMC.  He was serving in Afghanistan, and built this mudman as his version of a snow man, after receiving pictures from home of our snow man.  Zoom in on the picture and you can see that Rudolph hooked to his sled even has a red nose!
