We offer affordable pet care and multi pet discount.

We have beautiful, colorful, state of the art pet enclosures, built by Mason Company, the Company that builds rooms for the High End Pet Hotels.  These rooms give your pets the privacy they need while inside their rooms.  Dogs can eat and rest in peace, no fence fighting as you get with chain link fence dividers as dogs try to guard their food from their neighbors.

I have been in the pet care business for many years and know what it takes to have happy tail wagging customers.  Your pet will receive excellent care and each one is treated according to their individual needs.

Laura's Dog Retreat is a family run business.  I started doggie sitting many years ago.  Then when Jessica (my daughter in law) joined the family she soon became valued help!  She is a real people person and great with the dogs.  I encouraged her to become certified in grooming and she does a wonderful job!  My husband, Richard has also became a big help, with clean up, maintenance and being my secretary on very busy days, he is also a Lexington Fire Fighter.  Rachel Bruner, Richard's great niece, (she is the oldest great grand-child in the Bales Family) has joined the team, she is great with the dogs, the bigger the dog, the better Rachel loves them!  She also has her teaching certification in Elementary Education.    

The Dog Retreat is located in a large building. The front part is the office, kitchens, waiting room, laundry area, and grooming room. One section is the Dog Hotel. The building also contains Keavy Fire Station #2, and more garage space needed for the farm and Dog Hotel. The entire building is protected with a Security/Fire System and Security Cameras, inside and out.

Pets are warm and cozy in the winter and nice and cool in the summer, by a top of the line heating and cooling system.

Dogs, Grand-babies and Harleys it doesn't get any better than that!!  I have a wonderful Family, Life, and Church. I am so very Blessed and Thankful...EVERY day I am Thankful!!!

Monday through Friday:

**Wednesday We Close at 6:00 pm**

Closed Saturday Evenings

Saturday Evening is our only evening we are closed and the only evening we can make plans and not be committed to be at the Hotel any scheduled time, your pets are still cared for as usual.  We picked Saturday to be closed because this was the slowest time for dropping off and picking up and we REALLY appreciate and need our evening off.

Sunday Evening

7:00 - 8:00 PM ONLY

Sunday is Church and Family day, but we like to give our customers an opportunity to drop off or pick up theirs pets.  Please arrive between 7:00pm to 8:00pm.  We do not stay after 8:00pm.
